Thompson the founder of Big Cat Goalkeeping has coached at the u19 National Team Level, NCAA DI level, DA level and currently works for the new MLS franchise, Los Angeles Football Club also know as LAFC.
Thompson who started working within professional soccer system aged 16 is a former professional goalkeeper for Carlisle United, Barnet and Hull City (England). Thompson has also got U.E.F.A cup experiences to his credentials as he represented Llanelli AFC in Sweden against Allsvenskan team Gelfe IF. (Swedish premier division)
Thompson and his Big Cat Goalkeeping staff direct goalkeeping specific programs for clubs around the US and conduct camps across North America and the UK.
Thompson brings a wealth of knowledge and his methods have guided waves of goalkeepers to go on to play Professional, National Team, NCAA, DI, DII, DIII and NAIA College soccer.
Kyle Reynish has over 15 years coaching experience and 10 years playing experience in the MLS. Kyle has played for Real Salt Lake, Chicago Fire, NY Red Bulls and Atlanta United FC. In 2009 he became an MLS Cup winner. From 2012-14 Kyle acted as a player and assistant coach for the NY Red Bulls. Kyle's focus has now shifted from playing soccer to coaching full time. The HPA Goalkeeper Program focuses on the technical aspects of goalkeeping before perfecting our craft . We teach different styles to best suit the player’s skills set. Also, most importantly, we attend games to offer insight that cannot be taught in a private setting.
LA Goalkeeping Academy provides top of the line goalkeeper training . For 17 years, our goal keeper training plans have been mastered and proven for athletes at every level from beginners to professionals and everyone in between. Athletes can grow their skills tremendously with our goalkeeper skill training plans whether it be basic technical sessions or advanced tactical training.
