We accidentally bought the slider 2 for 12 year old goal keeper. After not wanting to wear them because of the thicker pads they became his go to padded shorts. They provided great padding for diving on hard Futsal and hard fields.
Overall these seem good, not the best for me but good and I am going to keep them because I need something right now. The pads are not soft at all but at the same time they feel very protective on the legs. I am overweight so the large size fits well in the waist. First issue is that the top of the pads are extremely high and because they are not the soft style found in full-length pants the pads push up against my hip when I crouch. Second, while I feel like the pads are of good quality, the way they look just sewn onto the shorts seems off but this might purely be aesthetics. Again, solid four and I will keep these sliders.

My son loves these shorts for high school soccer. He plays on turf and grass. He also has the knee length ones, but those get too hot once the season gets warmer. He is about a 29" waist, 5'9" height, 145lb and the size small is perfect.

These are awesome. A great way to protect a young goalie. You can use them alone under some soccer training pants with separate knee pads, especially if other youth sized soccer padded pants are too long for your player at this age. Great protection in pads.

My 13 year old Middle school goalie LOVES his shorts. He is 5'5"" and 116 lbs. I got him a youth large and they fit great. He wears under his shorts with no bulk. He says the padding is awesome when diving. Worth the price. Love Keeperstop, quick ship, will purchase from them again
