What It Takes To Be The Best Goalkeeper

The ultimate goal of any young goalkeeper and player is to play for his/her national team and represent their country. But, what gets us there? Of course a youth goalkeeper has to be technically gifted with handling, diving, crosses, distribution, and communication. It is not about looking the part with the best goalkeeper glove and the newest goalkeeper kit or jersey; its what is on the inside. To truly be the best goalkeeper and soccer player and achieve a lot of success in the game you need a the proper ATTITUDE, strong COMMITMENT to succeed, and you must SACRIFICE.

Hi, I'm 19 and I've always loved goalkeeping, I've always been on and off since I was 12, I'm ok in the position but with the right training would you say it's possible to become pro even at my age? thanks.

Hey my name is Jose I'm 19 and I've been goalkeeping for 6 years and I'm average in the position even tho of my hieght and physical appearance but I want to know what type of mentality I should look for to gain a bit of confidence

I started football late this season and I play with incredible players, I have just been signed to be there goalie but I can never mentally prepare myself to dive for the ball, I always back out of it.. What should I do?

  I’ve Ben a goalie for 11 year I’m an Elite goalie and when I was younger when I was learning to dive when I would practice was I would go on my knees and have someone throw the ball to one side and I just launched myself to that side to catch the ball just to get the feel of it and then I would move to my feet and do the same thing.
